Creating Sports Content That

Performs on and off the Field

I’m a sports videographer and photographer with over four years of experience capturing the emotion, intensity, and atmosphere of athletics. My time at the University of Maine helped shape my passion for cinematic storytelling and visually driven content. I’m constantly pushing myself creatively, always looking for new ways to tell compelling stories through photo and video.

Earning a B.A. in New Media with double minors in Graphic Design and Filmmaking gave me the foundation to turn creative ideas into cinematic visual pieces. Working closely with the University of Maine Athletics Department has played a major role in my growth as a creative, allowing me to work in high-energy game day environments where adaptability, storytelling, and quick decision making are essential.

Videography

For the past four years, I’ve spent nearly every weekend on a field, court, track, or rink capturing the University of Maine’s teams in action. Working as a creative content employee has been one of the most impactful decisions I made during college. Working as a Creative Content Intern, my responsibilities included filming games, editing highlight packages, and producing post-game edits following wins. My role varied across different sports depending on seasonal needs and coverage requirements.

During my junior year, I served as the sole videographer for the University of Maine Football team. In this role, I was responsible for producing two short-form content pieces each week—one practice recap and one game recap—regardless of whether we were home or traveling. I also handled weekly practice photo content to support team media needs. Throughout this time, I collaborated closely with the Sports Information Director (SID) and the Director of Football Operations to develop additional storytelling content, including coverage of a Make-A-Wish visit, the annual Meet the Bears event, and a Day in the Life feature. I held similar responsibilities with the University of Maine Track & Field team, contributing both video and photo content to support their seasonal coverage and storytelling initiatives.
