About Me
I started creating videos regularly after the quarantine in 2020. I decided to create this video series called Project 15 as a way to make the last days of summer mean something and not let my last 15 carefree days slip by and waste them on TV and video games. So I decided to do something new every day. This was my first experience regularly creating videos. I fell in love with the process. It was a very stressful time, having to film, edit, and post every video by the next morning but in that time whatever I didn’t know I had to learn and learn it fast.
Following my success with Project 15, I began to create weekly vlogs documenting the progress of my cross-country team amid an ongoing pandemic. What we were going through at that time felt so monumental and life-changing that it felt important to document how this group of runners were continuing to run even when the world was shut down. This is really where I found a groove. I love the sport of running, but running itself was always a bit difficult for me seeing as I was never particularly fast. Filming practice and meets every week made me want to keep running and made me much more invested in the sport. I continued filming through the end of my senior year, covering both the indoor and outdoor track seasons as well as cross country.
Since graduating high school I have been attending the University of Maine. I’m majoring in New Media, double minoring in Filmmaking and Graphic Design. I was the Marketing Director for The Maine Campus Student Newspaper, as well as the head photographer/videographer for the UMaine Nursing program. During my freshman year I also got a job working for the UMaine Athletics program.
